A seasoned professional with over 15 years of experience in clinical research and project management, award-winning researcher Jurran Wilson is a distinguished leader and versatile expert working at the intersection of clinical research, leadership & strategy, and informatics. An accomplished researcher, scholar, mentor, and adviser, he has an extensive portfolio of publications and presentations, highlighting significant contributions to the field.
His scientific interests and expertise are extensive, encompassing translational research, digital health innovation, public health and biodefense/bioterrorism, and cybersecurity in the research enterprise. Driven by a commitment to advancing the frontiers of clinical research and implementing innovative solutions to complex challenges, Jurran’s work employs a strategic and forward-thinking approach.
In his current role as Senior Project Manager with the Clinical & Translational Science Institute at Children’s National, Jurran utilizes his extensive expertise to drive strategic initiatives, foster interdisciplinary collaboration, and lead high-performing teams. He is known for his dedication to excellence, strategic vision, and passion for improving health outcomes through cutting-edge research and digital health.
Jurran holds a BA in Psychology with focus in Clinical and Industrial & Organizational concentrations. Additionally, he has earned a professional certificate in Digital Health from Harvard University, as well as the distinguished Society of Clinical Research Associates (SOCRA) Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP) certification. He also serves as co-founder of the TriNetX Pediatric Collaboratory Network, a William and Joanne Conway Chair Nursing Research Scholar, and is the recipient of the 2023 Institute for Advanced Clinical Trials for Children (I-ACT for Children) Champion of Excellence Award.
