Due to the low incidence of Urea Cycle Disorders, pharmacists may not be familiar with the presentation, treatment, or pharmacy-specific considerations for these potentially life-threatening disorders. This presentation seeks to educate pharmacy staff on clinical and operational information imperative for patients presenting with Urea Cycle Disorders.

Learning Objective 1: Describe the urea cycle and explain the pathophysiology and presentation of Urea Cycle Disorders (UCD)

Learning Objective 2: Evaluate the management of OTCD and examine pharmacy specific considerations
