Tom Ben-Dov, MD

I am a pediatric otolaryngologist specializing in pediatric airway disorders and hearing rehabilitation, with a strong interest in human genetics and molecular biology, particularly monogenic hearing loss. I am board-certified in Otolaryngology in Israel and completed a two-year ACGME-accredited fellowship in Complex Pediatric Otolaryngology at NYU Langone Health / NYU Grossman School of Medicine. I currently serve as an attending pediatric otolaryngologist in the Department of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery, Division of Pediatric Otolaryngology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center and NewYork-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital, where my practice focuses on complex airway management, multidisciplinary care, and hearing rehabilitation. I am actively involved in resident education and mentorship, contribute to departmental research efforts including studies on EXIT procedures and pediatric airway management, and participate in global health initiatives such as medical mission trips focused on cleft lip and palate care.
