Habib Zalzal, MD, FACS
Habib Zalzal, MD, is a CPO-certified assistant professor of Otolaryngology and Pediatrics in the Division of Otolaryngology at Children's National Hospital/George Washington University. A native of Bethesda, Maryland, Dr. Zalzal received both his bachelor and medical degrees from Georgetown University (2015). He completed his otolaryngology residency at West Virginia University (2020) and pediatric otolaryngology fellowship at Children's National Hospital (2021). Dr. Zalzal has authored over 40 peer-reviewed manuscripts in the field of otolaryngology and is a member of several professional organizations and committees within Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT). He has presented at meetings both nationally and internationally, winning the G. Slaughter Fitz-Hugh, MD, Resident Research Award in 2018 for best clinical manuscript. He has been featured in the news media, including Discover Magazine.
