Abby Meyers, MD
Born and raised in the St Louis area, Dr Abby Meyers received her BA and MD at Vanderbilt University. She then completed her pediatric residency at Children’s National Hospital in Washington DC, before practicing primary care in an underserved area of the Chicago suburbs. She then returned to the DC area for her fellowship in pediatric endocrinology at the National Institutes of Health, where she studied type 2 diabetes in youth. She joined the faculty at Children’s National in 2020 as an attending in pediatric endocrinology and an Assistant Professor at George Washington School of Medicine. In addition to her clinical work in diabetes and general endocrine, she has a special interest in adrenal insufficiency in X-linked ALD. She is also the program director of the endocrine fellowship program and enjoys spending time with trainees at all levels.
