Cristal I. Hernandez-Hernandez, MD, earned her medical degree from the Universidad Central del Caribe School of Medicine in Puerto Rico. She completed her residency in pediatrics at Children’s National Hospital in Washington, D.C., followed by a residency in clinical genetics and genomics at the National Institutes of Health–National Human Genome Research Institute in Bethesda, Maryland. Dr. Hernandez-Hernandez is board certified in pediatrics and clinical genetics and genomics. Her professional interests include dysmorphology, prenatal genetics and genetic skeletal disorders.
