Abby Mecham is a licensed clinical social worker at CHOC Children's Hospital, where she has worked since 2018. Abby earned both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from UCLA and has been in the social work field for 15 years. She has experience working with individuals and who are diagnosed with severe mental illnesses, chronic medical conditions, and responding to mental health crises in the community.  Abby is the social worker for the Cystic Fibrosis Center as well as the After Cancer Treatment Survivorship program, both award winning programs at CHOC. She has presented at national and local conferences and is an active participant on the quality improvement team through which she has authored multiple abstracts and posters.
