I am currently a rising third-year medical student at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. I graduated from the George Washington University in 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and a minor in Biology. Over the past year, I have worked as a research assistant with Dr. Ashraf Harahsheh in the Department of Pediatric Cardiology at Children’s National Hospital to explore how systemic inflammation influences long-term cardiovascular complications in children with Kawasaki disease. As an aspiring cardiologist, I am passionate about advancing cardiovascular medicine by conducting collaborative research, providing high-quality patient care, and fostering scientific innovation. In my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors, connecting with friends and family, trying new cuisines, and reading novels.
