Jordan Kuiper, PhD, MS

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Environmental and Occupational Health at the Milken Institute School of Public Health at The George Washington University. I am a clinical and environmental epidemiologist by training with a particular focus on maternal and child health, especially critically ill neonates. My research spans a few domains, including investigations of environmental chemical exposures to endocrine disruptors (e.g., PFAS, phthalates, bisphenols) on pregnancy and birth outcomes as well as characterizing exposures from medical equipment; studies of heat exposure and impacts on pregnancy and birth outcomes in global settings; and epidemiological studies of neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) neonate outcomes and factors influencing trajectories of morbidities throughout NICU stay and post-NICU graduation.
