Nakeima E. Dorr, DNP, APRN. FNP-C, dedicated APRN with experience in in delivering care to Active Duty family members and their family members before retiring from the Army in 2015.  She holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree and is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner.  Nakeima is known for her commitment to patient advocacy working again with the military and family member population upon retirement along with Urgent Care clinics.  She began at Children's National in 2015 as a part time employee in Occupational Health and has continued to contribute to that team.  Under the leadership of Mary Santerre, she continues to contribute meaningfully to CNH mission for providing healthcare.  She works with the entire team in Occupational Health to keep the workforce healthy.  She recently joined the Professional Development Team and shortly thereafter was elected as co-chair.
