Certified Pediatric Registered Nurse with 13 years of healthcare experience in the pediatric acute and outpatient care settings. I was a travel nurse for three years and during that time I had an opportunity to learn about apheresis, a specialized medical procedure used to treat various acute and chronic illnesses. I have now worked with the Children's National Therapeutic Apheresis Program for over three years as a nurse operator and as the program's trainer for two years. My passion is to provide resources and education throughout our hospital system to expand nursing knowledge related to apheresis specialty.
