I am currently an academic pediatrician working at the Goldberg Center at Shaw Metro. During the 5 years prior to being a full time clinician at Shaw I spent time working in global health both in the exam room and also as a technical advisor on policies/programs for USAID, Doctors without Borders, and Baylor College of Medicine (Malawi) in sub-Saharan Africa and Washington, DC. I have spent time working at an FQHC after residency, the Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic, where I initially began my engagement with organizations that seek to serve the poor and underserved. This goal remains at the heart of my professional interests and motivations.
