HKU Skills Day Simulation
The goals of this activity are to: appropriately identify an abnormal rhythm, determine stable vs un-stable rhythm, demonstrate appropriate escalation of a decompensating patient, and demonstrate effective communication skills during a code event.

Learning Objective 1:
Develop a differential diagnosis and management plan for the patient with ventricular tachycardia.
Learning Objective 2:
Evaluate self and others on teamwork and leadership in a critical situation.
Learning Objective 3:
Differentiate between stable and unstable VT based on patient presentation.
Learning Objective 4:
Demonstrate effective communication using SBAR when escalating care to provider or during a code situation.
