Emma Larson, Ph.D., is a licensed clinical and pediatric psychologist in the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at Children's National Hospital.

Dr. Larson earned her Ph.D. at Louisiana State University and completed her clinical internship and post-doctoral fellowship with the Nebraska Internship Consortium in Professional Psychology at Boys Town Behavioral Health Clinic.

Clinically, Dr. Larson works with children, adolescents and their families with a range of gastrointestinal problems including IBD, functional abdominal pain, and encopresis.  Her areas of interest and expertise include anxiety, emotion regulation, and coping and resilience with medical conditions.  Dr. Larson works closely with families to implement behavior management and parenting strategies.
