A. Yasmine Gonen, MD
Dr. A. Yasmine Kirkorian is the Chief of the Division of Pediatric Dermatology at Children’s National Hospital (CNH). She is an Associate Professor of Dermatology and Pediatrics at the George Washington School of Medicine & Health Sciences. Dr. Kirkorian obtained a bachelor’s degree in French Language & Literature and Human Biology from the University of Virginia and a medical degree from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She completed residency training in dermatology at Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson School of Medicine and her fellowship training in pediatric dermatology at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. She is a past president of the Washington DC Dermatological Society. During her time as president, she co-chaired the Atlantic Dermatology Conference. Dr. Kirkorian is an expert in laser and surgical procedures and is the Co-Director of the Vascular Anomalies Clinic. She has a special interest in vascular and pigmented birthmarks as well as complex medical dermatology. Dr. Kirkorian lives in Washington, D.C. with her husband and two sons.
