Mariel Trunzo, DNP, PNP, is a board-certified pediatric nurse practitioner and medical scientist with over a decade of experience in pediatric oncology. She has held clinical and research roles at leading institutions including Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, and Seattle Children’s. Mariel also served as a clinical trial nurse with the Children’s Oncology Group (COG) and has contributed to peer-reviewed publications.

At United Therapeutics, she supports neuroblastoma research strategy with a focus on GD2-targeted therapies, integrating clinical insight with scientific innovation to help advance care for children with cancer.
