Deborah ("Deb") Strohecker ia the nurse on an interprofessional Inpatient Palliative Care Service in Portland, Oregon.  The service also includes physicians, a nurse practitioner, social workers and a chaplain.  She has spent the past 22 years of her nursing career working exclusively in hospice/palliative care.  She is passionate about advocating for her patients and the people that are important in their lives to ensure their values and goals are respected.

Originally from Massachusetts, Deb has lived in the Pacific Northwest for 35 years.  In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her spouse and child, knitting and watching British murder mysteries.
