Elizabeth Waibel, MSN, CPNP is the Advanced Practice Performance Improvement Coordinator for the Department of Trauma and Burn Surgery at Children's National Hospital in Washington, DC. She has worked as a Pediatric Trauma and Burn Nurse Practitioner for 17 years.  

Liz earned her BSN from Boston College and MSN from Catholic University. She is an Executive Doctor of Nursing Practice Candidate in Health Systems, Leadership and Policy at Georgetown University. Liz lives in Arlington, VA with her husband, 2 sons (and 2 Weimaraners).
