Dr. Nikhil Chanani was a Staff Cardiac Intensivist at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta and remains an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Emory University School of Medicine. He previously served as the Medical Director for Quality and Outcomes for the Children's Heart Center. His academic interests include quality improvement, safety education, and he is also involved with a number of research projects at Georgia Tech and Emory University. He has been involved with multicenter projects from the NIH, PC4, and other multi center collaboratives. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors for the Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Society and was recently an executive committee member of the Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care Consortium.
