Tiffany Jager, BSN, RN, RNC-NIC
I graduated from Marymount University’s Accelerated Nursing Program in 2013, entering nursing as my second degree and career. I began my journey in the NICU at Children’s National as a new graduate RN and have now been part of this incredible team for 12 years. Throughout my time here, I’ve fulfilled the charge nurse role and served on several committees, including the Resource Council, Bereavement Committee, BPD Committee, and the Early Mobility Team.
For the past eight years, I’ve also been a preceptor—an experience that sparked my passion for teaching. I discovered that my favorite part of precepting was helping nurses understand the pathophysiology behind our patient population. In 2024, I stepped into the Clinical Instructor role, where I primarily support the onboarding of residency and fellowship nurses.
Outside of work, I love to travel, explore new places, and spend time outdoors.
