The S.T.A.B.L.E. Program (2025)

February 21, 2025 to December 12, 2025

The goal of the STABLE program is to provide healthcare professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to deliver optimal post-resuscitation and pre-transport stabilization care to critically ill neonates. STABLE is designed to improve safety and quality of care for neonates needing to be stabilized and requiring transport to a higher level of care.

Learning Objectives

Learning Objective 1: Demonstrate the ability to perform critical neonatal stabilization techniques, such as securing the airway, regulating temperature, and managing blood pressure, in simulated high-acuity scenarios

Learning Objective 2: Identify and implement the key components of neonatal stabilization using the STABLE mnemonic to ensure optimal post-resuscitation care

Learning Objective 3: Apply effective decision-making and communication strategies in interdisciplinary team settings to prioritize and deliver coordinated, safe neonatal care during the post-resuscitation and pre-transport phases
