Elizabeth Sherwin, MD, FHRS
Dr. Elizabeth “Libby” Sherwin, MD, FHRS, is a pediatric cardiologist and electrophysiologist at Children’s National Hospital and Associate Professor of Pediatrics at George Washington University in Washington, DC. She earned her M.D. from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine (MCV), then completed Pediatric residency, Pediatric Cardiology, and Pediatric Electrophysiology fellowships at Boston Children’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School. She worked in Vancouver, British Columbia, then joined the Children’s National Hospital in 2016. She is the Director of Electrophysiology and practices clinical and interventional electrophysiology with special interests in arrhythmia treatment and ablation, cardiac implantable electronic devices, and sudden death and inherited arrhythmia evaluations and treatment. She leads the Cardiogenetic Inherited Arrhythmia clinic at Children's National.
