Ashley joined Children’s National in 2014 as a newly licensed registered nurse. Over the last 10 years Ashley has served as a clinical nurse, preceptor, and charge nurse on 4M. Currently in her role as a Professional Development Specialist she leads the Acute Care PNR Cohort and facilitates PCT & USA Orientation/Onboarding. Her clinical excellence has been recognized by colleagues and patients and families through multiple Daisy Award nominations. Throughout her nursing career at Children’s Ashley has been fully engaged in the professional practice of nursing. Her system level involvement includes serving as a Conway Nursing Pathway Program Mentor, Magnet Champion, Wound and Skin Team Champion, BLS instructor and as a member of the Patient Education and Advocacy Committees (PEAS) and Professional Development Council.
