Dr. Nayagan is a second year Child and Adolescent Psychiatry fellow at Children’s National Medical Center. She has a Bachelors of Science in Biology from Temple University with a minor in Sociology of Health. She attended medical school at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University in Camden, New Jersey and subsequently completed her Psychiatry residency at Cooper University Hospital. Dr. Nayagan’s interests include medical education, narrative medicine, and mental health care for immigrant and refugee populations.
