Jessica Graef has served as a Professional Practice Specialist (PPS) on the Hematology/Oncology Care Unit (HOCU) at Children’s National Hospital (CNH) since 2018.  Prior to transitioning to the PPS role for the nursing team on HOCU, she worked as a bedside nurse for 11 years on the unit.  As a PPS, Jessica is responsible for a wide range of nursing practice, education, quality, and safety initiatives related to the CNH hematology, oncology, and bone marrow transplant patient population.  Prior to working as a nurse, Jessica worked in the international development and food security field.
