Kaitlin Scarpaci, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, CPN
Kaitlin Scarpaci is the Advanced Practice Clinical Manager in the Division of Urology at Children’s National Hospital in Washington, DC. She is currently pursuing a Post-Master’s Doctor of Nursing Practice at Villanova University, where she is recognized as an Ashley Rose Pitek Nurse Scholars Fellow. Kaitlin’s educational background includes a Master of Science in Nursing from George Washington University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Case Western Reserve University, where she received honors for her academic performance.
In her role at Children’s National Hospital, Kaitlin manages and supports a team of Advanced Practice Providers and Clinical Program Coordinators, focusing on quality improvement and program development. Her work includes leading initiatives to enhance patient care and contributing to the hospital’s ongoing Magnet designation. Kaitlin has also played a key role in increasing clinic patient load, developing orientation programs, and conducting research that has informed better practices in pediatric urology.
Kaitlin is actively involved in the nursing community through her participation in professional organizations such as the Pediatric Urology Nurses & Specialists (PUNS) and the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP). She is a frequent speaker at conferences and has contributed to publications on nursing education.
