Chad McCormick received his Ph.D. in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry at Yale University. He pursued his postdoctoral work at the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development, National Institutes of Health. Dr. McCormick began his career in research integrity at the American Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, where he became the Data Integrity Manager charged with quality control of the Journal of Biological Chemistry, the Journal of Lipid Research, and Molecular and Cellular Proteomics. Dr. McCormick is now a Scientist-Investigator with the Office of Research Integrity (ORI) in the Department of Health and Human Services where he performs oversight review of cases of alleged research misconduct involving Public Health Service funds.
