Claire Boogaard, MD, MPH is the Chief Quality Officer for Health Services for Children with Special Needs, Inc (HSCSN), the special need managed care Medicaid health plan in Washington, DC.  She also serves as a Community and Population Health Quality Leader at Children’s National Hospital, where she works to integrate clinical programs to improve quality and value within the delivery system.  Dr. Boogaard is a general pediatrician, who completed her medical education at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine before completing her internship, residency, and chief residency at Children’s National Hospital.  Her career has included clinical and hospital leadership focused on quality improvement both at the community and population levels.
