Tammy Tsuchida, MD, PhD

Tammy Tsuchida is a Professor in the Departments of Neurology and Pediatrics, at George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. At Children's National Hospital, she applies her training as a Clinical Neurophysiologist and Pediatric Epileptologist to the study and clinical care of neonates and infants with brain injury, seizures and epilepsy as well as neonatal EEG. She is involved in multi-center research on neonatal seizures and epilepsy characterization and treatment. She has had the good fortune to teach nationally about neonatal EEG and seizures at ACNS and AES and participate in international seizure guidelines.
She obtained her MD and PhD degrees at Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons (now Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons) then completed Child Neurology and Neurophysiology fellowships at UC San Francisco.
