Dr. Brunson completed her pediatric nephrology training at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and joined Children’s National Hospital in 2019. She is the Medical Director of Dialysis and focused on educational aspects with the fellows and trainees and quality improvement for our dialysis patients and families. Her research interests focus on health disparities and social determinants of health for children with CKD and ESRD. Her clinical interests include hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis and nephrotic syndrome.
