Siobhan Copeland, VASII, MA
I have dedicated my career to child protection since 2011, working at Children's National Hospital. My journey into this field is rooted in my background in theater and film, which I pursued with a passion for storytelling. As a survivor advocate, I have always been driven to use media to tell the stories of survivors like myself.
Working with children has always been a passion of mine. Growing up, I longed for a voice and a safe space, and I have strived to be that for others. I graduated from Spelman College in 2005 and continued my education at NYU Tisch School of the Arts, graduating in 2006.
My career began with supporting domestic violence and sexual assault survivors at a safe house in Columbia, MD. This experience solidified my commitment to advocacy and protection, leading me to my current role where I continue to make a difference in the lives of children every day.
