Summary: A review of ongoing research project investigating perspectives of suffering amongst healthcare providers and caregivers of children with cancer. Participants will be asked to consider their own views on the concept of suffering and reflect on how their perspective influences the care of their personal patients.
Learning objectives:
- Participants will be able to state ways in which health care providers feel their patients with cancer suffer.
- Participants will gain an understanding of how caregivers view the suffering of their children with and without cancer.
- Participants will consider and reflect on their own approach to patient suffering.
