Priti Bhansali, Priti Bhansali MD MEd
Dr. Priti Bhansali is Professor of Pediatrics at the George Washington School of Medicine and Health Sciences. Dr. Bhansali is the Director of the Children’s Academy of Pediatric Educators at Children’s National Hospital. Within the Division of Hospital Medicine, she is the Director of Scholarship and Faculty Development and the former associate program director for the PHM fellowship. Dr. Bhansali has served as an academic writing coach for the GWU School of Medicine. She is also involved with faculty development efforts at the national level through the APA Educational Scholars Program and the AAP’s Advancing Pediatric Educator eXcellence (APEX) program.
Dr. Bhansali obtained her Master’s Degree in Education from George Washington University and is currently pursuing her MBA. She completed her undergraduate training at the University of Pennsylvania and medical school at the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine. She completed her pediatric residency and chief residency at the University of Connecticut and began her career in Pediatric Hospital Medicine at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center from 2006-2009, where she was also the Associate Program Director for the pediatric residency program.
