Ian Chua, MD, MHPE, MBA

Ian Chua, MD, MHPE, MBA is a bicoastal pediatric hospitalist and clinical associate professor of pediatrics at both Stanford Children’s Health (Palo Alto, CA) and Children’s National Health (Washington, DC). He completed his residency at Stanford Children’s with concentrations in medical education and quality improvement. He obtained his Masters’ in Health Professions Education at University of Illinois in Chicago, and Executive MBA at Quantic School of Business and Technology. He currently directs the ACGME Fellows’ Common Core Curriculum, the Pediatric Hospital Medicine (PHM) Fellowship Medical Education Pathway, and the Pediatric residency medical education pathway at Children’s National Health and directs the PHM Leadership Rotation at Stanford University School of Medicine . His interests have been in educational scholarship and professional development of transitional learners including fellows and junior faculty.
