Cleopatra Hyman MSN, BSN, RN, has 19 years of nursing experience and serves as the Nursing Director in Case Management and Clinical Documentation Integrity at Children’s National Hospital in Washington, D.C. With a robust background in clinical nursing, Cleo has also gained significant expertise in revenue cycle management, hospital reimbursement, and CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services) compliance regulations. Her role encompasses ensuring that clinical documentation aligns with coding, billing practices, and regulatory standards, all of which are vital for optimizing hospital reimbursement and maintaining financial compliance.
Beyond her leadership in clinical settings, Cleo is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Maryland School of Nursing, where she educates and mentors BSN pediatric clinical instructors.
