Margarita Ramos, MD, MS

Margarita Ramos, M.D., M.S., is a pediatric hospitalist and Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Children’s National Hospital in Washington, D.C. She completed her residency and chief residency at Children’s National, with a concentration in medical education. Prior to completing a fellowship in pediatric hospital medicine, she spent two years working as a newborn hospitalist and served as nursery site director for the 3rd year medical student pediatric clerkship at George Washington University. She has a Masters degree in Physiology and Biophysics from Georgetown University and is currently working towards her Masters in Education. She currently serves as an Associate Medical Education Director and Director of the Howard University Medical Student Inpatient Rotation. Her scholarly interests include equity in medical education and supporting the personal and professional development of medical students and resident trainees.
