  1. Define the components of decision making for treatment with antidepressants during pregnancy.
  2. Examine studies focusing on the risks of both antidepressant treatment and untreated depression during pregnancy.
  3. Advocate for studies that include outcomes related to the benefits of treatment for maternal and fetal health as well as the risks, which have been the focus on most studies to date.
