- Understand the critical role doulas played in partnering with California’s medicaid agency to co-design the Medi-Cal doula benefit inclusive of advocacy strategies, loved expertise and cross-sector collaboration
- Understand,from a community doula perspective, key policy and implementation decisions that shaped California’s Medi-Cal Doula Benefit
- Understand the scope of doula services within Medi-Cal , including prenatal, labor and delivery, postpartum (up to 12 months) and support across pregnancy outcomes such as miscarriage, stillbirth and abortion
