Series Description
This is the Children's National Heart Center's weekly Surgical Conference. A multi-disciplinary team of sub-specialists including cardiovascular surgeons, cardiologists, cardiac intensivists, advanced imaging specials, nurse practitioners and others discuss and plan for surgical interventions based on individual patient's clinical presentation and history. Each case is presented by a Cardiology Fellow under the guidance of an attending physician/physicians. Advance cardiac imaging, past medical history and current literature are all factors considering during each patient discussion.
