EBM: Basics of Gene Therapy for Sickle Cell Disease

  • Participants will be able to counsel patients on the two FDA approved gene editing therapies for sickle cell disease
  • Participants will be able to identify and manage complications of stem cell collection
  • Learning can apply current clinical guideline to determine the most appropriate curative treatment options for individuals with sickle cell disease, considering eligibility criteria, risks, and benefits.
