Lauren Pavone, MS, RD, is an outpatient clinical dietitian specializing in the care of pediatric patients with gastrointestinal diseases and disorders and subspecializing in the nutritional and dietary assessment and management of children and adolescents with special health care needs. She completed her didactic training and master's degree in nutritional sciences at the University of Maryland, and her dietetic internship at Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center. Her clinical interests also include the nutritional management and support of patients with inflammatory bowel disease, food allergies/intolerances and growth concerns.
