After graduating from Baylor University Joe began his career in the labortory animal field in 2016 at the University of Kansas.  He gained further experience as a supervisor in lab animal husbandry and vet care at MD Anderson in Houston, Texas.  His career lator brought him to the DMV area where he was involved with quality assurance and compliance both at NIH and ACURO, the oversight office of DoD-funded laboratory animal use.  Joe continues to pursue his passion for laboratory animal welfare and compliance through the IACUC program of Children's National Hospital.
