Gabrina Dixon, MD, MEd

Dr. Dixon is a board-certified pediatric hospital medicine attending at Children’s National Hospital in Washington, DC. She is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, Washington, DC. She enjoys being able to teach fellows, residents and medical students about general pediatrics and pediatric hospital medicine. Due to her love of teaching, Dr. Dixon received a Master of Arts in Education from George Washington University. In addition to her regular responsibilities, she is the director of Advancing Academic Pediatrics (AdAP), a program at Children’s National aimed to increase medical students to pursue academic pediatrics. She is the co-director of HEAR-PHM (Health Excellence Academic Research in Pediatric Hospital Medicine), a program funded by the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development of the National Institutes of Health.
