Randi Streisand, PhD
Randi Streisand, PhD is a tenured Professor of Psychology & Behavioral Health, and Pediatrics at George Washington University School of Medicine, and serves as the Chief of the Division of Psychology at Children’s National Hospital. She is currently NIH funded with research efforts related to behavioral interventions in childhood diabetes. Her work focuses on parent and child adjustment, and managing diabetes in young children. Dr. Streisand’s work has been recognized through receipt of awards for her mentorship (American Psychological Association- Society of Pediatric Psychology, 2019) and program of behavioral research in diabetes (American Diabetes Association- Behavioral Medicine, 2020).
