Hannah Daughtrey, MD

Dr. Hannah Daughtrey is a board-certified pediatric critical care physician specializing in cardiac intensive care at Children’s National Hospital, where she also serves as Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at George Washington University. She completed her medical degree at Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine, followed by pediatric residency at Oregon Health & Science University, and dual fellowships in pediatric critical care at Stanford and pediatric cardiac critical care at Children’s National. Her academic work focuses on the psychosocial outcomes following pediatric critical illness, palliative care in patients with advanced heart disease, and ethical challenges in the care of patients with advanced heart disease. Dr. Daughtrey is an active clinical ethicist, educator, and published researcher, recognized for her leadership, professionalism, and commitment to advancing pediatric cardiac critical care.
