Eduardo A. Trujillo Rivera is Faculty Data Scientist, and Assistant Professor in the Critical Care Department at Children’s National Hospital. In addition, Dr. Trujillo Rivera holds a Courtesy Appointment in the Department of Biostatistics and Bioinformatics in the Milken Institute School of Public Health, George Washington University. He received his PhD in Statistics from Iowa State University and completed Postdoctoral projects as Data Scientist at George Washington University. His main research interests are the development, and implementation of machine learning, and statistical models for prediction and inference in the medical field.  He assists a wide range of medical researchers in the Critical Care Department at Children’s National Hospital with designing experimental/observational studies, developing, implementing, and explaining statistical and machine learning models.
