  1. Describe the pharmacodynamic (PD) target for vancomycin efficacy and identify vancomycin-associated toxicity.
  2. Compare and contrast efficacy and vancomycin-associated toxicity between trough-based and area under the concentration time curve (AUC)-based therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM).  
  3. Discuss the benefits of precision dosing software to optimize patient-specific vancomycin dosing regimens.
