Series Description
The goal of this journal club is to enhance psychologists’ engagement with current research, support evidence-based practice, and promote critical thinking and discussion within the Psychology Division at CNH. Through regular, structured discussion of peer-reviewed literature, participants will strengthen their ability to apply scientific findings to clinical decision-making and interdisciplinary collaboration across the hospital. Psychologists must remain up to date with emerging research to provide developmentally and culturally informed, evidence-based care. A regularly scheduled journal club provides structured opportunities for learning, reflection, and knowledge exchange, which is especially critical within an integrated hospital setting where clinical demands may otherwise limit ongoing education. This activity will promote best practices, improve clinical outcomes, and support professional growth.
