Description

The goal of this fellowship is to provide nurses with specialized comprehensive education that will enhance their ability to care for brain tumor patients. The education will focus on many different aspects of caring for complex brain tumor patients and will help nurses develop expertise in the clinical care of brain tumor patients through continuing education hours, presentations, and ongoing roles as expert resource RNs. The fellowship will deepen their understanding of the patient experience and the multidisciplinary care team, including oncology, neurology, radiation oncology, neurosurgery, PANDA, PMR, and rehabilitation therapies (PT, OT, speech).
