  1. Assess a deteriorating patient using a structured approach (ABCDE).
  2. Create a shared mental model by apply interprofessional team performance techniques (e.g. closed loop communication and SBAR) during simulation and in clinical practice.
  3. Demonstrate use of the escalation algorithm to escalate patient concerns (e.g. Watcher, Rapid Response activation, EARS, Code Blue).
